Norwegian Coast Guard Rescues Whale Tangled in Buoy

The Norwegian Coast Guard helped free a whale whose tail was tangled in a buoy in the Soroysundet strait on Wednesday, June 28, officials said.

The coast guard said they found a tired whale with its tail tangled in an Institute of Marine Research buoy. They then cut “most of the ropes” to release the animal.
