No Time to Die may have to shoot new scenes as it has been delayed for so long.

The James Bond film was originally set to be released in April 2020, but was one of the first films to be pushed back in the wake of the pandemic.

Universal and Eon Pictures soon shifted the film from October 2020 to April 2021, but recently decided to delay it by another six months.

This decision has reportedly meant that producers could have to film new scenes in order to reflect new advancements in Bond’s technology.

According to The Sun, Daniel Craig’s character’s high-tech gadgets have aged so much that it looks like he’s “carrying something that has been out for ages”.

It’s believed that many of the film’s sponsors, which reportedly include Nokia and Omega, will be frustrated that the older models of products will date the film when it’s finally released.

“It means some of the scenes are going to have to be very carefully edited and looked at to bring things up to date,” an insider said.

The main scenes that producers are said to be considering reshooting are the ones involving gadget man Q, who is played by Ben Whishaw.
