The 93rd Academy Awards are nearly upon us. With no single host and a different, COVID-conscious setup, the awards ceremony will look a bit different this year, but the nominees are nonetheless spectacular. From Minari, to Judas and the Black Messiah, to Nomadland, the Oscars should be worth catching. If you don’t have cable and you’ve run into the yearly dilemma of wanting to watch an awards show but finding yourself wanting to avoid using your parent's cable login to see the Oscars, you're in luck.

How to watch the 2021 Oscars: Everything you should know about Sunday's Academy Awards

You can catch the Oscars on Sunday, April 25th at 8 PM ET, on the ABC app if you have a cable subscription or login, but if you're looking to stream the Oscars elsewhere, you can check out the options below.

SlingTV

Our editor-in-chief David Kender swears by SlingTV, especially when it comes to streaming one-off events, like March Madness. You can sign up for a month of SlingTV for just $10, then your bill moves up to $35 per month for access to a number of other channels. You can opt for Sling Blue (ideal for news and entertainment) or Sling Orange (good for sports and families). You'll want to sign up for the free local channel package to get access to ABC, but the good news it that you can get this channel regardless of the package you pick.
