Nili Block represents America and Israel very well. Training at ATT, she is now focusing on MMA

Nili Block is a four-time Muay Thai world champion, four-time European champion and two-time kickboxing world champion, representing Israel.

A determined Block is now transitioning to MMA, and she has relocated to South Florida, training at the prestigious American Top Team.

Here is my video interview with her at American Top Team.

Born in Baltimore, Block moved with her family to Israel, when she was 2. She is one of six siblings and has dual citizenship (Israel and United States).

After her parents divorced, she lived with her mom, Rina, who inspired her to train in kickboxing. She began learning from Benny Cogan, who is Israel’s national kickboxing and Muay Thai coach. She has been coached by Cogan her entire kickboxing and Muay Thai career. Eddie Yusupov also helped train her in Israel.

Block, 27, recently competed in Birmingham, Alabama, where she won a silver medal at the Muay Thai World Championships. From Birmingham, she made the trek to South Florida to begin her MMA journey.

A solid athlete, Block works hard physically and adjusts mentally, preparing to achieve more combat sports goals.

Block earned a college degree in psychology and served a two-year term for the Israeli Army as required for all men and women in that country.
