Nicole Kidman Makes Surprise $100,000 Bid for Hugh Jackman’s Hat

Nicole Kidman surprised a Broadway audience by bidding $100,000 for a hat signed by Hugh Jackman after a performance of The Music Man in New York City on Saturday, November 26.

This footage, filmed by Virginia Cavaliere, shows an auction for the charity Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the Winter Garden Theatre. Kidman made her presence known by shouting her bid of $100,000, which led to gasps and cheers from the crowd.

In video posted to Jackman’s official Twitter account, he can be heard joking with Kidman, saying, “I just want to be clear, this is not Australian dollars”.
