Editor’s note: Follow all the NFL Week 3 action with USA TODAY Sports’ live coverage.
Week 2 of the NFL season is behind us, and it brought about its fair share of statement wins and devastating injuries, highlighted by Nick Chubb's gruesome knee injury on Monday Night Football.
Week 3 kicked off with the San Francisco 49ers beating the New York Giants 30-12 on Thursday Night Football to improve to 3-0.
The action continues Sunday with nine games scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. The early slate features a divisional game between the New York Jets and New England Patriots, and a game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings, two teams looking to avoid 0-3 starts.
The afternoon slate features three games, highlighted by the Chicago Bears traveling to Arrowhead Stadium to face the defending-champion Kansas City Chiefs. Sunday's action wraps up with a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders.
Week 3, like Week 2, also features a Monday Night Football doubleheader to conclude the week. The first game is between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the second matchup features the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.
