Peters played Conroy in two episodes of "Smash" during its first season. It is not known how many episodes she will appear in, or when her episode or episodes will air.

Peters joins a cast that's beginning to swell past the point of human comprehension.

In addition to the show's new and returning regular cast members, "Rent" star Jesse L. Martin, "Dreamgirls" Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, former "Will & Grace" actor Sean Hayes and "Hairspray" star Nikki Blonsky have all joined the series in recurring roles.
