Newtown School Shootings: 'Scandal' Pulled from ABC.com Because of Violence

The tragic school shootings in Newtown, Conn., that left 28 people dead on Friday continue to have their impact on television programming decisions. The midseason finale of the ABC hit "Scandal" was pulled from ABC.com on Monday, the same day it was made available on the site, out of consideration for the victims of the massacre, ABC said Monday. We know fans are excited to see the episode and we will update this post the moment we know when it will be available in the ABC.com Full Episode Player and the ABC Player apps." The episode, which aired last Thursday -- the night before the shootings -- featured the murder of a family of four. On Friday, Syfy pulled a scheduled episode of "Haven" because it depicted gun violence, while TLC has pushed the premiere of its special "Best Funeral Ever" from late December to early January in light of the killings.
