Lauren Graham & Aisling Franciosi To Star Opposite Dylan O’Brien & James Sweeney In Three Point Capital & David Permut’s ‘Twinless’

EXCLUSIVE: Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham and The Nightingale‘s Aisling Franciosi have joined the cast of Three Point Capital and David Permut Production’s movie Twinless. They will star opposite previously announced Dylan O’Brien and James Sweeney.

Sweeney is also writing and directing the pic which follows two young men who meet in a twin bereavement support group, and form an unlikely bromance.

O’Brien and Miky Lee are EPs.  Alex Astrachan, Director of Development at Permut Presentations is co-producer. Republic Pictures has worldwide rights to the film.

Three Point Capital is financing the feature with Ali Jazayeri, David Gendron and Liz Destro also serving as executive producers.

Graham is known for playing Lorelai Gilmore on the hit CW series, Gilmore Girls. She’s also starred in such movies as Flash of Genius, The Answer Man with Jeff Daniels, Evan Almighty with Steve Carell, Because I Said So opposite Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thornton, The Pacifier, One True Thing with Renee Zellweger and Meryl Streep and more. She was recently an EP and star of the Disney+ series, The Mighty Ducks. On stage, Graham starred as Miss Adelaide in the 2009 Broadway revival of the classic musical comedy Guys & Dolls. Franciosi starred in Jennifer Kent’s critically lauded The Nightingale which won the Special Jury Prize at Venice Film Festival in 2019. She was recently seen in God’s Creatures, an A24 psychological drama alongside Paul Mescal and Emily Watson. Additional credits include Netflix’s The Unforgivable opposite Sandra Bullock, Charlotte Bruus Chrstensen’s miniseries Black Narcissus for FX and BBC, the HBO limited series I Know This Much Is True, Alan Cubitt’s BAFTA-nominated BBC Two crime drama The Fall, and Game of Thrones as the character Lyanna Stark. Franciosi is represented by WME, United Agents, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Barry Littman at HJTH.
