Kelly Osbourne Exits ‘Fashion Police’

The E! snark show is down one cop today. “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers,”said E! Entertainment today. “Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”

Osbourne’s departure from the show comes just days after she said online that she was contemplating leaving:

The “weed” remark refers to fellow FPer Giulana Rancic’s comment earlier this week that Zendaya Coleman’s new dreadlocks do revealed at the Oscars probably smelled like “patchouli or weed.” Rancic apologized for what many considered her racially insensitive comments on Twitter and the next day on E! itself to the K.C. Undercover star.

An apology that the daughter of rock legend Ozzy and The Talk co-host Sharon seemed to accept on February 25.

Still Osbourne obviously felt that a post-Joan Rivers FP was not the place for her anymore. Kathy Griffin and Brad Goreski remain as co-hosts of the show with Rancic.
