James Bond Gets in a Sick Luxury Car Chase in the Latest 'SPECTRE' Set Video

The latest official video from the set of the upcoming 24th James Bond film SPECTRE plays like a luxury-brand version of a Fast and Furious clip. Which, if you’re a fan of really cool and expensive cars, is a very good thing.

Director Sam Mendes takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the film’s shoot in Rome, which began in early March. As co-star Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) explains it, the scene you see above involves a high speed, nighttime chase where “the hero of the film, Mr. Hinx, chases his evil nemesis, James Bond.” Bautista, of course, plays Mr. Hinx. And, as you probably already guessed, he’s not on the side of the angels.

Craig and his stunt driver are behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DB10, a new car that was built entirely for the film. Hinx, meanwhile, is driving a Jaguar C-X75, a two-door hybrid that retails for well over $1 million.

The vlog is the latest update from the set of SPECTRE, which has jumped across continents and oceans. Previously, we got a first look at the film’s alpine scenes in Austria, and then a taste of its Day of the Dead-inspired opening in Mexico.

SPECTRE — which has returning stars Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q — brings Bond back in conflict with the legendary crime syndicate from which the film takes its name. It hits theaters on Nov. 6.
