Glen Powell and Adria Arjona had an unfortunate accident the day they filmed sex scenes for their new movie Hit Man.

As Arjona, 32, recounted during a May 23 appearance on Variety's Just for Variety podcast, she and Powell, 35, both experienced rashes while filming a scene in which they soak in a bathtub. A member of the crew had put Dawn dishwashing soap in the tub.

"That strips you of all your oils of your skin. That’s used for baby ducks when there’s an oil spill, for God’s sake," Arjona said. "And it's on this bathtub and we soaked in this bathtub for an hour and I get out of the tub and all of a sudden I dry myself and I can’t bend my knees because I have no oils."

"My skin is just stretched out. Oh my God, I was in so much pain. I have a rash everywhere, and Glen is trying to take care of me and then he turns around and I'm like, 'Glen, you have the exact same rash, dude. I don't know what to tell you,' " she recounted.

They were then sent to have makeup applied to the rashes in order to film "all of our sex scenes" for the rest of the movie the same day, Arjona told the outlet.

"All of them with a crazy rash. So it looks so sexy, but we were both in so much pain. We would just die laughing of like, 'How much makeup do you have on your ass right now?' I was like, 'So much it's not even funny.' "

"Throughout this sequence of filming those sex scenes it was just— we keep saying we had so much fun and I think people were taking it in a different direction," Arjona told Variety.

"We had fun because it was so funny, we were both in pain with makeup all over this rash and it was just a funny... we were like, 'I can't believe this would happen to us, the day of these scenes.' "
