First Batkid Begins Documentary Trailer Brings The Feels

Unless you were hiding under a rock in late 2013, you’ll remember the story of Miles Scott, the young Californian cancer survivor whose dream of being Batman for a day was made reality by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the people of San Francisco.

Miles - dubbed Batkid for the day - dressed up as his favourite superhero and took part in staged crime scenarios across the city while thousands of people turned up to cheer him on. Now, a documentary has been made about his escapades, and you can watch the heartwarming first trailer for ‘Batkid Begins’ above.

Dana Nachman’s documentary tells the story of Miles battle with leukaemia after being diagnosed at 18 months old, his recovery, and the incredible work of the charity that made his dream come true.

The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival and Julia Roberts is attached to adapt a movie based on Miles’ story at some point in the future.
