Chris Pratt Relaxes the Raptors in New 'Jurassic World' Clip (Exclusive)

As hinted in early trailers and clips for Jurassic World, Chris Pratt’s researcher Owen Grady has some remarkable dinosaur-whispering skills.

Now we get an extended look at Grady’s abilities in the exclusive new clip above. When a worker’s life is jeopardized in the raptor paddock, Grady intervenes and calms a trio of creeping (and presumably peckish) carnivores with a soothing display of man-dino diplomacy.

Of course, we have no idea what happens at the climax of this standoff, but our money’s on Grady to walk out unscathed. As for that worker…
