Bill Murray Slurs And Falls Off A Chair On Live TV

A "refreshed" Bill Murray may have been partying slightly too hearty prior to an appearance on TV yesterday.

Bursting into the studio at MSNBC, for what looked like a surprise slot on "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell," the 64-year-old actor promptly lost his footing and fell off a stool.

He then explained that he’d just filmed his spot on the last ever David Letterman show, before the talk show titan retired.

“I just did the Letterman Show, then went to dinner and had oysters, rosé wine, red wine and duck, grass-fed hanger steak,” he explained.

He neglected to mention that he’d also had a few slugs of vodka which he shared with Letterman on his couch, just after he’d burst out of a cake.

But of course, it wasn’t just his dinner he’d come on the show to talk about - he did have some heart-felt things to say about 'Dave’ too.

“There was an amazing amount of power in the room, a lot of emotion,” he said.

“Everyone wanted to be in on it. Everyone is feeling it. Dave is at some incredible level of capability right now. He floats about everything.

“I know pressure is a false thing, but I kept feeling it. All the crew want you to really kill. All these people whose jobs are going to end in two days… want you to be great.

“I had to be empty of all of that, just be with the guy.”

Legendary…
