Arnold Schwarzenegger Hijacks Dwayne Johnson's Online Q&A

It was he-man heaven on popular link-sharing site Reddit yesterday as Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson’s AMA (Ask Me Anything – a no-holds barred online Q&A) had a special guest in the form of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The former Governator, using the username GovSchwarzenegger, jumped in to answer a question directed at Dwayne Johnson, who there to talk about his new movie Hercules.

A fan called Pixel_Me_That asked The Rock: “I hear you’re very good friends with Arnold. So who would win in a fight, Conan or Hercules?”

Quicker than T-800, Schwarzenegger jumped in: “I just came here to congratulate Dwayne, but you just gave me a great idea for a movie. I would love to do a movie with Dwayne – the Oak and the Rock – it couldn’t be more perfect.”

This was followed by a Conan reference from RichOfTheJungle, who said: “I can tell you know what’s best in life. To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and her the lamentation of their women.”

But Arnie wanted people to know about the Rock’s softer, more charitable side.

He said: “Absolutely. But also, I’m hopng everyone respects the Rock not just for his body and athletic ability when he crushes his enemies, but for his relentless drive and more importantly, the way he gives back to the community. It is a rare thing and we should all be inspired.”

Dwayne didn’t take Arnie up on the Oak and the Rock, but he said he’d love to appear in The Expendables… but not as friends.

“I don’t want to be on their team and be buddies with them,” he said. “F**k that noise. I want to every single one of them down and tell them to ‘send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine’.”

On a less cheerful note, he talked about making The Fast And The Furious without the late Paul Walker, an experience he described as “bittersweet”.

He said: “To me the #1 most important thing I care about is making sure his daughter has stability in her life and good solid men around her to help raise her in the wake of Paul’s passing.”

‘Hercules’ is coming to cinemas this Friday.
