New Spider-Man: Homecoming Poster Emerges

A brand new poster for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ has emerged, and it sees Tom Holland’s Peter Parker recreating a rather familiar pose.

The folks over at Fright Rags, via Birth Movies Death, spotted the brand new poster, or what could just turn out to be a promotional image, for the blockbuster while at MAGIC Las Vegas. You can take a look at it below.

Pretty cool stuff. Not only does it give us a closer look at Spidey’s costume, which, as we learnt in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, Peter Parker got a technological boost from Tony Stark to make better, but just the superhero’s gestures gives us an indication of his cheeky-chappy ways.

Spider-Man dangling upside down immediately brings to mind one of the most famous scenes from the character’s six cinematic appearances so far.

Of course, I’m talking about Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst’s very, very wet smooch in Sam Raimi’s first ‘Spider-Man’ film, which was released all the way back in 2002. How old do you feel now?

It’s more than likely that this won’t be used by Marvel Studios as an official poster for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, and has instead been provided to the studio’s subsidiaries for their promotion.

But either way it’s a nifty picture, especially because it shows that Spidey’s suit is so sleek and cool. We’ll obviously get to see it in more detail when ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is finally released on July 7, 2017.
