Never Have I Ever season 3 has a release date and so much more exciting news

While we love a good drama or a true crime doc, we probably don't talk enough about the easy-breezy happy TV that we all love. Shows like Never Have I Ever are usually exactly what we need after a long day, we're talking comedy, romance and high school drama right from the mind of comedic genius Mindy Kaling. It doesn't really get better, does it?

Season 2 brought back all of the laughs we expect from the show, but with some added heart as Devi began to deal with the grief that followed after her father's death and wonder whether that could be the reason for her acting out.

As per usual, fans loved season 2, with plenty of them asking whether or not the series would be back for season 3 before it had even aired. Well, the good news is NHIE is definitely coming back for a third season. Here's everything we know, including release date, cast list and trailer info.

What's going to happen in Never Have I Ever s3?

Season 2 left us with a lot of loose ends, so there's going to be big developments in the third series. First off, Ben is struggling with his jealousy over Devi and Paxton going official, but things might be about to get even messier because according to pics of the upcoming series released by Netflix.

In the pictures we can see Devi walking the halls at school with a new boy, and those look like some pretty substantial heart eyes. Plus, while the picture is cut off at the bottom can probably safely assume there's some hand-holding going on there.

Who is starring in Never Have I Ever s3?

Obviously, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is returning for to play Devi in the third instalment, alongside Darren Barnet as Paxton. You can also expect the rest of the gang to be back for the series, including Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola), Jaren Lewison (Ben), Ramona Young (Eleanor), Richa Moorjani (Kamala) and Poorna Jagannathan (Nalini).
