The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window spoilers follow.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window wins the awards for longest title possibly ever for a Netflix series, and has just dropped on the streaming service.
Based loosely on 2021 movie The Woman in the Window and 2016's The Girl on the Train, telling a tale of a drink-and-prescription-pill-reliant woman who believes she's witnessed a murder, the story goes on a winding road before reaching its killer conclusion with a twist, we'll admit, we did not see coming.
So what's next for the series? Here's what you need to know.
The Woman in the House: Will there be a season 2?
Currently, there are no official plans for a second season of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.
However, while the series is somewhat wrapped in a bow to end after season one, Netflix hasn't marked it as a limited series, which normally indicates that there are at least plans for more episodes should the reception for the first batch go well.
The Woman in the House: Who will be in the cast?
If there is a season two of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, then it will likely include the return of Kristen Bell as Anna, the leading lady of the first season.
Other potential returns include Mary Holland as her best friend Sloan, whom she was flying to visit in New York, and Michael Ealy as Anna's husband/therapist, Douglas.
Apart from these three, and potentially local handyman/reformed killer Buell (played by The Umbrella Academy's Cameron Britton), it's unlikely any of the other characters will be back.
Which is fair enough seeing as they're, you know… dead.
However, someone who was teased as a potential season two addition was Glenn Close, in an unnamed role that was introduced in the last moments of the finale.
Community star Jim Rash also appeared as the flight attendant, who may or may not be helping cover up a crime…
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window season 2: What would the plot look like?
If season two is given the go-ahead then the chances are the central mystery will focus around Glenn Close's character, who seemingly wound up dead in the plane's bathroom at the end of season one.
Sitting next to Anna on the plane, the mystery woman looked a little shifty and said that she was heading to New York on business.
Only, after finding the body and alerting the flight attendant, Anna was told that there was no one sitting next to her on the plane.
Anna feels like she's made it up, until she spots the woman's gold vanity mirror hidden in between the seat cushions.
Knowing she's right, it seems like she's off again on a new murder mystery.
