According to sources, Wilbusch will play recurring guest star Danny, Liv’s love interest. Danny is a lawyer at Liv’s firm with whom she has a one-night stand before they begin an on again, off again relationship.

Wilbusch most recently appeared in the HBO original film “Oslo,” which tells the story of negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization which culminated in the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords. He is also known for starring in the Netflix series “Unorthodox,” about a young Jewish woman named Esty who runs away from her arranged marriage and ultra-Orthodox community in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and moves to Berlin.

Wilbusch is repped by Gersh and Echo Lake Entertainment.

Netflix has ordered six one-hour episodes of “Breathe.” Martin Gero and Brendan Gall are co-writing and executive producing the series, with Gero executive producing under his Quinn’s House Production company. Maggie Kiley is attached to direct the first three episodes in addition to executive producing. Iturri Sosa will co-executive produce. Warner Bros. Television will produce. Gero and Quinn’s House were previously under an overall deal at WBTV before he moved over to Universal Television last year. Variety exclusively reported that the series had been ordered at the streamer back in February.
