Netflix has announced a brand new The Witcher movie set to premiere in late 2024.

Titled The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, the animated movie sees Doug Cockle return to voice Geralt of Rivia. Joining him are Joey Batey and Anya Chalotra who are reprising their roles as Jaskier and Yennefer of Vengerberg, while Christina Wren is voicing the character of bard Essi Daven.

Based off of author Andrzej Sapkowski's short story 'A Little Sacrifice', Sirens of the Deep sees Geralt sent to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village.

However he soon finds himself drawn deeper into a "centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople" in a race to solve the mysterious attacks before the two kingdoms erupt into all out war.

"War has already begun," another voice adds, as Geralt can be seen fighting with a monster underwater.

Speaking about his return to the franchise, Cockle, who previously voiced Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher video games, said: "I am super excited to announce my return to the world of the Witcher voicing Geralt of Rivia once again, but this time in the upcoming animated feature.
