Yahoo Movies Exclusive: Neighbours star Zima Anderson on storm drama at Roxy's wedding

Neighbours star Zima Anderson has spoken to Digital Spy about the dramatic storm scenes ahead at Roxy Willis and Kyle Canning's wedding this week.
Roxy and Kyle (Chris Milligan) tie the knot in a romantic ceremony in Tuesday's episode (January 18), but the day takes a disastrous turn when some bad weather leaves lives hanging in the balance.
As a huge storm hits Erinsborough, everyone tries to shelter in the Flamingo Bar. Sadly though, not everyone may be safe from the life-threatening conditions.
Speaking to Digital Spy about the high-stakes plot, Zima laughed: "With everything that Roxy and Kyle have been through, it was pretty rough to hear that their wedding wasn't going to go smoothly!

"But in classic Neighbours fashion, they had to mix it up and make the wedding as spicy and dramatic as possible. It was pretty crazy but I thought: 'Roxy's getting married, so let's make it big'."
She continued: "The fans can expect so much drama. There'll be injuries and issues with people involved. You'll have to wait and see what happens, but a lot of people end up in danger.
"I can't say who those people are but it's definitely very dramatic and scary. There's going to be people in very sticky situations."
Zima also opened up over the challenges of filming the episode.

She said: "I loved shooting the storm. We shot with these massive fans. They were ginormous, like a big jet on a plane. Chris Milligan had to hold me because I'm so little as a person. This wind machine was so big that it was almost flying me off my feet!
"It was so crazy to film but fantastic. That was probably my favourite bit. You couldn't really hear anything because it was so loud and the actors were trying to run through this wind. It was fabulous."
For the wedding ceremony itself, Zima worked closely with the Neighbours costume team to help create the perfect wedding dress for Roxy.

Zima told us: "I absolutely adored my wedding dress. It had a Roxy flair to it – a little bit of Roxy spice.
"The costume department were incredible and made the dress to my body. I'm quite short and every person's body is shaped individually. They fitted the dress for me and made it from scratch. It was incredible. I'm so in love with my dress and can't wait for everyone to see it because it's beautiful."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
