Neighbours' Freya mystery continues as she gets to know Sheila and Levi

Neighbours spoilers follow from Friday's episode in the UK (January 21), which some Australian viewers may prefer to avoid.

Neighbours has revealed another possible clue over Freya Wozniak's hidden agenda.

The Erinsborough newcomer has sparked speculation from fans with some strange behaviour since she first appeared on screen yesterday.

In Friday's episode on Channel 5, Freya continued to share scenes with the Cannings after her previous tense encounters with Levi (Richie Morris).

When Freya made an order at the local café, she gave her name to Ned Willis (Ben Hall) as "Madonna" in order to wind up Levi.

She'd previously refused to give Levi her name or contact details after he confronted her for stealing a scarf from the debris at the destroyed Flamingo Bar.

Freya ended up staying at the café for longer than she'd originally planned, seemingly keen to keep a close eye on Levi.

She also soon seized an opportunity to casually quiz Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) on Levi and was encouraged when Nicolette described him as a great guy.

Later, Freya found another ally in the form of Levi's grandmother Sheila (Colette Mann), who was keen to set the pair up.

Never shy when it comes to interfering in her family's love lives, Sheila saw an opportunity for Levi to move on following his recent split from Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton).

Levi remained wary of Freya – and it appeared that he was right to be, with more hints that she's keeping secrets.

As Freya left Levi and Sheila alone to chat at the café, she looked thoughtfully at a picture of a mystery man on her phone.

Neighbours bosses have previously billed Freya as the "ultimate mystery girl", who'll feature in a big storyline for 2022.

Executive producer Jason Herbison recently said: "We've created a fascinating character for [Phoebe] that is complex, mysterious and a risk taker, she's going to be a lot of fun and Phoebe has already nailed the role."

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
