Neighbours first look at Brent Colefax's heartbreaking return story

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours sees Brent Colefax and Harlow Robinson's reunion take a heartbreaking turn on UK screens next week.

Brent (Texas Watterston) has been away with the army for the past several months, after Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) bribed Holden Brice to frame Brent for crimes he didn't commit. So Harlow (Jemma Donovan) is pleasantly surprised to see her boyfriend show up in Erinsborough again, as he's allowed a few days off.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) continues to be frustrated at Paul's behaviour.

She repeats again that she is opposed to his scheming and manipulative ways and wants space from him – which Paul ignores by getting Harlow to invite him over for dinner in an attempt to remain in Terese's orbit.

Harlow is more than happy to help Paul out, as she's willing to do whatever it takes to see her grandfather and Terese back together, despite what Terese wants.

Uncomfortable with Paul and Harlow's scheme, Brent tells Terese the truth. Pushed too far by Paul, Terese responds by revealing to everyone about Paul's bribery to Holden, hoping for Brent to be locked up in prison in order to split him and Harlow up.

Brent is angry upon hearing about Paul's actions, but is further hurt when Harlow surprisingly sticks up for Paul.

Brent and Harlow eventually have a conversation in an attempt to clear the air between them, but it only ends in heartbreak.

When Harlow tries to explain why she defended Paul, Brent points out that it's not the only example of Harlow's behaviour changing and says she isn't the same Harlow that he fell in love with. Brent then breaks up with her.

Harlow appears calm and collected in the aftermath of the break-up, which surprises everyone. Both Terese and Paul are concerned for her and suspect that she may be putting on a front and bottling up how she really feels.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, October 25, Tuesday, October 26 and Wednesday, October 27 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
