Neighbours confirms Amy's fate after scary cliffhanger
Neighbours spoilers follow from Wednesday's episode in the UK (January 26), which some Australian viewers may prefer to avoid.
Neighbours has aired the aftermath of Amy Greenwood's big cliffhanger, which saw her left for dead by her teenage daughter Zara Selwyn.
Amy (Jacinta Stapleton), who had still been recovering from injuries she sustained in the storm disaster, was left in peril yesterday after Zara shoved her during an argument. Although Amy collapsed in visible pain, Zara assumed she was faking it and walked off.
In Wednesday's episode on Channel 5, help was at hand for Amy after her on-off love interest Ned Willis (Ben Hall) decided to come and see her at her new food van.
Ned was horrified to find Amy in a terrible state and called for an ambulance, which led to her being rushed to hospital.

Word soon got back to Zara (Freya Van Dyke), who was horrified to realise that Amy's pain had in fact been genuine.
At the hospital, doctor Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) revealed that complications had caused Amy to suffer a collapsed lung. However, when pushed for a possible explanation, Zara claimed to have no idea over what had happened.
Zara once again chose Hendrix Greyson (Ben Turland) as a confidant, explaining to him that she hadn't believed Amy's pain was real. She was mortified to realise that she'd left her own mother for dead.
Later, Amy regained consciousness and told Karl and Ned that she only had a hazy memory over what happened.

During a moment alone, Zara then braced herself to reveal the truth.
Amy interrupted and explained: "I know. I remember what happened. It's okay."
Asked why she hadn't told anyone else, Amy replied: "Because it wasn't your fault. You didn't know. You were angry. You misjudged the situation. It doesn't mean you're a bad person.
