Neighbours to bring back Lucas Fitzgerald as Bea Nilsson gets fired

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Neighbours will see Scott Major return as Lucas Fitzgerald on Australian screens next week, as Bea Nilsson is fired from her job.

Lucas was last seen attending Sonya Rebecchi's funeral in 2019, but makes another guest appearance when he takes action and sacks Bea (Bonnie Anderson) for unprofessional behaviour.

In upcoming scenes on 10 Peach (via TV Week magazine), Bea is suspicious of the new Sheila Canning (Shareena Clanton) when she services her car and sees a file with Ned's (Ben Hall) name on it.

Worried for Ned given his previous experiences with stalker Scarlett Brady, Bea takes the dossier – and fears for the worst when she sees that it contains private information about Ned's whole life.

Bea tells Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) and Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) about the dossier, but this backfires when Sheila overhears Bea talking and sets the record straight.

Sheila says she was planning on hiring Ned Willis as The Hive's manager if her deal with Paul Robinson goes through, and that the file was just background research.

Bea is embarrassed that she jumped to the wrong conclusion, and apologises to Sheila while explaining why she took the dossier.

The worst is yet to come for Bea. She prepares to come clean to Lucas about the incident, but is shocked to find out that her boyfriend Levi Canning (Richie Morris), despite having good intentions, has already told her boss about everything.

A disappointed Lucas fires Bea.

Bea is angry at Levi for going to Lucas before she could, and their relationship is once again in trouble.

There was tension between the couple when Levi arrested Karl Kennedy, and the couple had another recent falling out when Bea tried to cover for Kyle and Roxy over her accidental poisoning.

Speaking about his return as Lucas, Scott said: "I always love walking onto the Neighbours set. I've been there on and off for around 13 years now, so it feels like a home away from home.

"I still feel very honoured to be part of such an amazing, inspirational show."
