NBC’s ‘One Chicago’ Franchise Lands a Primetime Ratings Win on a Packed Wednesday

NBC’s “One Chicago” franchise landed at the top of broadcast ratings during primetime on Wednesday. The network averaged the most total viewers, with about 6.3 million people tuning in throughout the night, as well as the highest rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic at a 0.67.

“Chicago Fire” was the most-watched and highest-rated program of the night, airing in the 9 p.m. hour to a 0.68 in the demo and an audience of 6.8 million.

However, it wasn’t an easy win for NBC, as there was plenty of competition among the other broadcasters. CBS’ “Survivor,” which aired from 8 to 10, reeled in a 0.66 in the demo and 6.6 million eyeballs. The network didn’t fare as well as NBC overall though, pulled down by a 0.38 demo rating and 2.5 million viewers for “The Amazing Race.”

Fox’s “The Masked Singer” matched “Survivor” in the demo, but could only post 3.9 million total viewers.

Here’s how the rest of primetime shook out across the broadcast networks:
