This International Women's Day, Mytheresa has joined forces with four women in the arts on a unique charity initiative. The luxury online retailer has teamed up with MTArt, a London-based agency, to launch 'Art’s Female Future', a programme which will see the retailer help to promote gender equality and female empowerment, through charitable donations.

MTArt is an agency founded by Marine Tanguy, an artist who herself has been supported by Mytheresa in the past when she won mentorship programme, the Next Women Award.

Tanguy has personally selected the three other female artists, who will each also receive €10,000, which will go towards a charity of their choice. All four women have also been photographed and interviewed by Mytheresa, while wearing collections from female designers.

"I was so honoured to win Mytheresa's mentorship and support two years ago as part of the Next Women award," Tanguy said. "I am excited to see a new generation of women embrace their success through the fashion and art they collect and I am excited to have captured them with Mytheresa for International Women's Day. The fact that we were able to support so many pertinent charities in doing so reinforces why this partnership is very meaningful to us."

Noëlla Coursaris Musunka, a Congolese/Cypriot philanthropist and international model has founded her own grassroot non-profit Malaika, which educates and empowers girls and communities in her home country the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Franco-Japanese artist Tiffany Bouelle uses her work to raise issues that have been ignored for far too long: the impact of social networks on women, memory disorders and gender issues. She has selected Fondation de Femmes, a French charity dedicated to fight violence against women.

Ines Leonarduzzi is a successful entrepreneur, who has made a career in the digital and art scene, currently focusing on sustainable technology and low-carbon AI. She has chosen to support Care France, a charity preventing women from high poverty and losing dignity – a cause, which means a lot to Leonarduzzi.
