The Emmys red carpet is back!
One year after an unprecedented remote ceremony brought festive pajamas and home decor to television's biggest night, there was plenty of glam Sunday as the stars came out for the 2021 edition.

Mali, along with its neighbors Burkina Faso and Niger, has for over a decade battled an insurgency fought by jihadi groups, including some allied with al-Qaida and the Islamic State group. Following military coups in all three nations in recent years, the ruling juntas have expelled French forces and turned to Russia's mercenary units for security assistance instead.
Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW) has carried out searches as part of an investigation with other European security services into alleged Russian espionage, it said on Thursday. A hub for Western military supplies to Ukraine as it fights Russia's invasion, Poland says it has become a major target of Russian spies. "Actions aimed at organising pro-Russian initiatives and media campaigns in EU countries have been documented," ABW said in a statement, mentioning the website voice-of-europe.eu which it says published pro-Russian material.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. economy grew at a solid 3.4% annual pace from October through December, the government said Thursday in an upgrade from its previous estimate. The government had previously estimated that the economy grew at a 3.2% annual rate last quarter. The Commerce Department’s revised measure of the nation’s gross domestic product — the total output of goods and services — confirmed that the economy decelerated from its sizzling 4.9% rate of expansion in the July-September quarte

Thames Water, like other water companies, had no debt at the time of privatisation. Taxpayers and bill payers have been rinsed, and it is not over yet. Shareholders in Thames Water today withheld a planned injection of £500 million of much-needed “survival” funding, sparking calls for the firm to be placed into special administration.
