Musical Fantasy ‘A Fairy Tale After All’ Picked Up by Premiere Entertainment Group (EXCLUSIVE)

Sales, production and financing company Premiere Entertainment Group has acquired worldwide rights to the live-action musical fantasy “A Fairy Tale After All.” PEG will be introducing the film to buyers during the virtual Cannes market.

The family film stars Emily Shenaut as Sky, a high school teenager who is magically transported to the fairy tale Kingdom of Celestia, where the villagers know her as Princess Geneva. She sets out on a daring journey to rescue her father, the King, from the evil forces of Madame Mizrabel and her slapstick sidekicks.

“A Fairy Tale After All” was produced, written, and directed by Erik Peter Carlson through his company A Fairy Tale After All Enterprises, with Riding Hood Motion Pictures.

Carlos Rincon, PEG’s VP of acquisitions, said Carlson had “created a special universe in the fashion of Jim Henson’s ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘The Dark Crystal’ that is filled with lovable and whimsical characters who will undoubtedly capture the hearts of audiences both young and old.”

The cast also includes Gabriel Burrafato, Bridget Winder and Timothy N. Kopacz, as well as voice-over talent and YouTube influencers Anna Brisbin (BrizzyVoices) and Brian Hull, who plays the role of Dracula in this summer’s “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.”

“These characters and the universe they inhabit have always been in my heart,” Carlson said. “I see this as the first of many inspiring adventures to come. I have always felt the best fables present numerous emotions to create a whole. Encouraging laughter and togetherness is more important now than ever before.”

The film features five original songs written and performed by singer-songwriter Chelsi Hardcastle.

PEG CEO Elias Axume and Rincon brokered the deal with A Fairy Tale After All Enterprises and Carlson.
