Bobrovsky makes incredible save during Panthers-Lightning playoff game
Florida's Sergei Bobrovsky might have had the save of the year. The Panthers' goaltender was facing the other way when Tampa Bay's Matt Dumba had a chance at what looked like it would be an easy goal in Game 2 of the teams' NHL playoff series on Tuesday night. Dumba had nothing but net to shoot at — and Bobrovsky, without his stick and diving blindly at a puck he couldn't see — somehow made the save.

Voting was lopsided in favor of passing the bill, with just 17 senators voting against it. That vote comes on the heels of the legislation passing the House with a vote of 360-58 on Saturday. Australia Q1 annual inflation slows less than expected, core sticky
Australian consumer price inflation slowed by less than expected in the first quarter, while the progress in the core inflation stumbled, reinforcing market bets that an interest rate cut could be a long way out. Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday showed the consumer price index (CPI) rose 1% in the first quarter, above market forecasts of 0.8%. The annual pace of CPI inflation, however, slowed to 3.6% from 4.1%, but again came in above forecasts for an easing to 3.5%.

Battlestar Galactica actor Terry Carter dies
US actor Terry Carter, who starred in 1970s TV shows including Battlestar Galactica and McCloud, has died at the age of 95. Carter "died peacefully" at his New York home on Tuesday, it was announced on his official website. During his decades-long career he was seen to break down barriers, including in 1956 becoming one of the first black actors to become a TV sitcom regular, playing Private Sugarman on The Phil Silvers Show.
