What’s more stunning in this $10M home? Golden Gate Bridge views or the lush garden?

A chic and contemporary home in the Telegraph Hill area of San Francisco has hit the market for $9.99 million with a rare combination of features.

It offers views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Coit Tower through floor-to-ceiling glass walls and from multiple decks, as well as a flat, lushly planted backyard with palm trees and other tropical vegetation.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 32 Julius St. — originally designed by influential Bay Area architect Stanley Saitowitz —spans 5,780 square feet across four levels. There is a gym and yoga room, too.

“This property is beautifully perched above the bay,” said listing agent Max Amour of Compass in an email response to the Sacramento Bee. “It feels as if you are floating above the shimmering waters.”

The seller is Tien Tzuo, founder and CEO of software company Zuora, according to The Real Deal. He purchased the property with his wife Mariana for $6.75 million in 2013, the real estate website.

The residence also was the former studio and home of San Francisco arts patron Ann Hatch, according to Compass real estate firm.

The home was remodeled in 2014 by developer Riaz Taplin, and is a rare piece of real estate in the picturesque and historical Telegraph Hill region of the city, according to Compass.

The median price of homes in Telegraph Hill is $1.1 million. As of June 28, 2022, there were 20 homes for sale, ranging in price from $725,000 to $16 million, according to realtor.com.

To have this much land is a true luxury. Upon entering the home one feels the tranquility. It is so quiet and peaceful. Not only is the quality and condition exceptional, but also it has a beautiful contemporary design.”
