Monét X Change honors Bob the Drag Queen purse-first in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 ball

RuPaul's Drag Race season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen comes purse-first to the runway — and in Monét X Change's heart.

Monét paid tribute to her Sibling Rivalry podcast collaborator and longtime friend on Friday's All Stars 7 ball challenge, during which she donned a "Bob the Drag Queen Elizabeth" look as a hybrid of aesthetics pulled from the closets of Bob and Queen Elizabeth II.

The All Stars 4 champion honored her former New York City sister during the Before and After category as the second of three looks RuPaul asked contestants to wear to the ball.

Channeling Bob's signature "purse-first" walk, Monét entered the runway with her handbag extended before her. She also drizzled pink paint on her head as a reference to Bob's Neon Queen Realness look from season 8.

"I'm doing Bob's iconic neon paint drip look reimagined," Monét said of the look in a confessional. "It's a very Queen Elizabeth silhouette with a Bob the Drag Queen twist."

Bob — who returned this year to host Drag Race's official Pit Stop recap show for All Stars 7 — revealed in the past that Monét introduced her to the designer of the neon paint dress prior to Drag Race season 8.

"This is one of my more popular looks from the show. I think it's specifically popular because of the paint drip on my head," Bob said in a YouTube video recapping all of her runway looks. "This paint drip on my head was almost not going to happen. I brought some acrylic paint with me to paint my robot transformer look, then I poured the paint on my head last-minute."

Monét previously teased to EW that AS7 might also see her finally wearing a storied sweater that Bob had custom-made for her two years ago, which has become a hilarious point of contention between the pair on their various projects together.

"I still have the sweater that Bob the Drag Queen lovely and graciously got me for my birthday," Monét said in an interview for our AS7 cover story. "Maybe if you guys watch enough all-winners, you might see it on TV."
