(Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign an order on Saturday imposing hefty new tariffs of 25% on goods from Mexico and Canada and 10% on imports from China, potentially disrupting more than $2.1 trillion worth of annual trade. Trump, who is working from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida this weekend, said on Friday that there was little that the top three U.S. trading partners could do to forestall the tariffs. He set the Feb. 1 deadline to push them to take strong action to halt the flow of fentanyl and precursor chemicals into the U.S. from China via Mexico and Canada, as well as to stop illegal immigrants from crossing southern and northern U.S. borders.

Medical transport plane carrying child, mother crashes near Philadelphia mall in fiery explosion
The Learjet 55 crashed near the Roosevelt Mall in northeast Philadelphia around 6:30 p.m. after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, according to authorities. "Many people on the ground – in parking lots, on streets, in cars and homes in the area – were injured; the number of injured is yet to be released but the information shared at this time reports that a number of people were transported to Temple University Hospital, Jeans Campus in the Northeast," the office of Mayor Cherelle Parker said Saturday. In a statement, Shriner's Hospital said the child had received care from the Philadelphia hospital and was being taken back to her home country of Mexico along with her mother on a contracted air ambulance when the crash happened.
