Please list highlights of your civic involvement: Community volunteering in my hometown and Raleigh, participation in Raleigh charity events and food drives.

What are the three issues that you see as most important to your district and what will you do to address them?

We need to re-legalize marijuana, remove barriers to rezoning so more affordable housing can be created and secure the rights of parents to choose a school that works best for them.

At a time when costs are rising, state government has a surplus. How should it be used?

It should be given back to the people. Those taxes shouldn’t have been taken in the first place if they weren’t going to be used.

Will you vote for Medicaid expansion in North Carolina?

No.

What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?

NC legislature has gotten vanishingly little right regarding public education. Their most notable wrong is the refusal to explicitly support families who choose to take their kids to alternative schools, especially during COVID where many parents were left desperate for options.

Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How?

There should be a ban on abortion, with no exceptions.

Please add anything else voters should know about your position on the legality or availability of abortion in North Carolina.

Abortion should be decided at the state level, and if we are to accept as truth that democracy is an ideal decision-making process, the majority opinion of North Carolinians will be revealed then.

Should medical marijuana be legalized in North Carolina?

Yes.

What, if anything, should the legislature do to shape curriculum dealing with topics of race, sexuality and gender?

We have more important problems.

Do you accept the results of the 2020 presidential election?

Maybe.
