A Miami area cosmetic surgery center lists a doctor with a revoked license as a surgeon

As of Wednesday afternoon, the website for Coral Gables’ Seduction Cosmetic Center lists Dr. Jeffrey D. Morgan as one of its surgeons available for cosmetic work.

But the only Dr. Jeffrey D. Morgan licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida had his license revoked by the State Board of Medicine on Aug. 26.

The official cause for Morgan’s license revocation was over-prescribing pain pills to five patients. But an administrative complaint by the Florida Department of Health also alleged Morgan performed an improper Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery, a form of liposuction popular with Seduction customers, in 2020.

The Seduction profile page says Morgan got his bachelor and doctorate degrees in Columbia, South Carolina, and did his surgical internship and residency in New Orleans, Louisiana. And, it says he performs BBL surgery, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lifts and “mommy makeovers.”

Dr. Jeffrey D. Morgan was advertised as a surgeon on the Seduction Cosmetic Center website as of Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Morgan’s online Florida Department of Health license profile says he got his degrees at the University of South Carolina (which is in Columbia, South Carolina) and did his internship and residency at Tulane University (which is in New Orleans).

The profile also still says “License status REVOKED.”

Emails to Morgan and to Seduction Cosmetic Center have not been returned.
