Memphis LB wants his mullet so majestic 'you'll think I have a '69 Camaro blaring some Motley Crue'

Memphis linebacker Jackson Dillon wants you to think of cold domestic beer, the American flag and the 1980s when you see him play football this fall.

Dillon did a hilarious interview with Memphis’ WMC5 about his new mullet, which he intends to keep growing as the season gets closer.

“First game it’s gonna look majestic, you know. You’re going to think I have a ’69 Camaro out in the parking lot blaring some Motley Crue or something.”

If you can’t play the video for whatever reason, you probably should. The redshirt senior’s Oklahoma drawl makes his comments that much better. But if you absolutely can’t, here are some of the more memorable lines in that minute filled with them.

“This isn’t a haircut, this is a lifestyle,” Dillon said.

On what that lifestyle is: “You gotta have a Busch Light in your hand and an American flag. That’s basically how it is.”

On sponsorship opportunities: “Probably by Busch Light, Fram Oil Filters, Realtree Outdoors and Hoyt Bows or something like that.”

Dillon is clearly trying to make the most of a sixth season. He received a medical redshirt after missing the 2016 season and made one start in 2017 before missing the rest of that season. Before injuries basically robbed him of two seasons, Dillon was a three-year starter for the Tigers.
