Bobby Cannavale, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone and James Corden break down life on set of their new HBO Max original movie 'Superintelligence.'

Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone are headed back to the small screen together.

The duo will star in and executive-produce the Netflix series God's Favorite Idiot, a workplace comedy about a mid-level tech support employee named Clark Thompson (Falcone), who falls in love with his co-worker Amily Luck (McCarthy) at the same time he becomes the unwitting messenger of God. There will also be roller skating, a lake of fire, and an impending apocalypse.

Netflix has ordered 16 episodes of the series.

McCarthy and Falcone, who produce under their On the Day banner, have collaborated on such films as Bridesmaids, Tammy, The Boss, Life of the Party, and Superintelligence. They also recently completed work on the upcoming Netflix movie Thunder Force.

On the TV front, the couple served as executive producers on Little Big Shots, a competition series hosted by McCarthy. And both executive-produced and appeared in the TV Land series Nobodies. Series collaborator Michael McDonald will executive-produce and direct God's Favorite Idiot.
