Yahoo Movies Megan Thee Stallion just got neon green highlights and completely pulls it off
I love how much Megan Thee Stallion has been experimenting with different hairstyles recently.
Not long after channelling the 80s with some gorgeous curls, she tried a full, blocky and blunt fringe for a performance in London. Then, later followed up with a full, feathery fringe in New York City.
Now, the rapper has unveiled another new look and it has shot right up to being one of my favourites.
Megan posted a series of pictures on Instagram ahead of her performance at Firefly Music Festival, in which she has neon green highlights. Yep, they’re a bold beauty look and yet, she completely pulls them off. In the pictures, her hair is styled into two super high pigtails which is giving me an Ariana Grande x Sailor Moon vibe.
In true Megan fashion, her nails and outfit were also bright green to create the perfect matchy, matchy moment. And it turns out, her look was actually inspired by Shego, the villain from Disney’s Kim Possible – just scroll to the last picture:
If you don’t remember, Shego was the badass working for Dr Drakken and always wore a bright green jumpsuit – an absolute look, if you ask me.
Fans loved Megan’s new look, with one writing: “The REAL Shego babyyyy 💚🖤❤️🔥” and another adding: “Hot girl sheGo😍💚🖤”.
Truly iconic.
