Megan Fox Reacts to “Love Is Blind ”Star Chelsea’s Comparison Drama: 'I Don't Think She Deserved That'
“I've never had more people text me about something,” the actress said in a new interview
Megan Fox is responding to the comparison — and the "dragging” that ensued — after Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell made headlines earlier this year for saying she has been compared to the actress.
Although she is not a fan of the Netflix series herself, it didn’t take long for Fox, 37, to learn about the drama, she told E! News.
“I've never had more people text me about something,” she said, “because I don't really watch TV very much."
The drama — which was just one of many bombshells and viral moments from season 6 of the popular reality show — even made its way to the Academy Awards, Fox revealed.
"But I've had a lot of people text me and stop me,” she told E! News. “Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch Love is Blind?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you're talking about.’ “
The drama started when, while still in the famous Love is Blind pods, Blackwell told then-love interest Jimmy Presnell that she had been told she looked like the Jennifer's Body star in the past.
Even though Blackwell said she didn't see the comparison herself and told Presnell — whom she got engaged to before ultimately splitting — not to "get excited” by the information, he still said that she had "lied" to him about her appearance.
After naming Fox as a lookalike — and all of the messiness that followed — Blackwell was met with lots of negative attention online, which Fox also acknowledged in her interview with E! News.
"I didn't watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied," she told the outlet.
"I don't think she deserved that,” she added. “I think people went way too hard.”
As for the actual comparison? Fox said she definitely sees it, telling E! News, “A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, 'You kind of look like Megan Fox.' So I believe she's telling the truth and I hope she still has that sparkle in her eye.”
“I hope the world didn't steal it from her,” she continued. “Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn't happen to her. Best wishes and blessings.”

Following the backlash for saying she has been compared to Fox, Blackwell admitted on social media that people were "so mean."
The reality star even said she felt the need to contact Fox herself over the comments, telling Entertainment Tonight that she reached out to say, “I'm so sorry I did this to you.”
In her new interview with E! News, Fox did not mention whether she had spoken with Blackwell.
