McDonald's Is Featuring A BTS Signature Order That Will Be Available Worldwide

Update, May 26, 2021: The anticipated BTS signature meal is officially available at McDonald's locations in the United States starting today, so K-Pop fans should hit up the drive-thru ASAP. Along with the meal (that includes a brand new dipping sauce!) McDonald's will be releasing special BTS merch tonight that members of the BTS Army will go crazy for.

Dropping at 7 p.m. EST tonight on the Weverse Shop App, the line of BTS x McDonald's merch features hats, sauce-inspired tote bags, hoodies, purple bathrobes, socks, sandals, and so much more. The collection takes inspiration from the meal itself, which comes with 10-piece chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Coke, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces.

Original Post, April 19, 2021: K-pop group BTS debuted in 2013 and has been a global sensation ever since. The seven-member boyband has a fandom that spans across the world and is teaming up with McDonald's for a unique collaboration. As part of Mickey D's signature order programming, BTS will have its own menu item available at restaurants and the meal includes an all-new dipping sauce.

Last year, McDonald's launched its signature order program which has included meals inspired by celebrities like J Balvin and Travis Scott. The success of those meals led to this partnership and for the first time ever the BTS signature order will be available worldwide in nearly 50 countries. J Balvin and Travis Scott's signature orders also included an exclusive merch drop, so here's hoping BTS stans will have the same opportunity too.

The BTS meal includes 10-piece chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Coke, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces. These sauces are available for the first time ever in the United States and are inspired by popular recipes from McDonald's restaurants in South Korea.

Next month McDonald's customers will start seeing the BTS signature order popping up on menus, and for a full rundown of where and when the meal will be available you can check out this list. It will hit menus in the United States on May 26. In a tweet announcing the collaboration, McDonald's simply posted a photo of seven fries with the caption: "Coming this May: The BTS Meal."
