McDonald’s Is Adding Viral Food Hacks To Their Menu, Including A Hashbrown McMuffin

While some diners prefer to stick to the menu at their favorite fast food restaurant, other customers like to get a little creative with their orders, remixing the classics into totally out-there meals. McDonald's is taking their customers' favorite hacks to heart, and will have menu items inspired by fans and their ingenious food orders starting January 31.

McDonald's is introducing new limited-time menu items you'll be able to order by name but will then have to assemble by hand—all of which are ideas taken from McDonald's lovers and their viral menu hacks. For example, a Hash Brown McMuffin will get you all the food you need to add extra crunch in your sausage McMuffin in the form of an hash brown layer in the sandwich. Of course, this option will only be available during breakfast hours.

Other items include a Crunchy Double, which is a double cheeseburger topped with McNuggets and BBQ sauce; the Land, Air & Sea, a Big Mac topped with a Filet-O-Fish and McChicken (a Hot 'n Spicy McChicken at some locations); and the Surf & Turf, which is a Filet-O-Fish added onto a double cheeseburger. McDonald's even came out with a handy guide to show you exactly how to DIY your new favorite golden arches meal.

You can order the Hash Brown McMuffin, Crunchy Double, and Land, Air & Sea by name at the counter, drive-thru, or through the McDonald's app or McDelivery. The Surf & Turf is available exclusively on the McDonald's app and McDelivery. As is true with most limited-edition menu items, availability may vary by location so you should check in with your closest Micky D's to make sure you can take advantage.
