INMAN ADAN: And then we've got Maxwell Lewis out of Pepperdine. What are your thoughts on Maxwell?

RAFAEL BARLOWE: I like Max. I like him a lot. He was in Chicago. So I met him at the combine. And I got invited to his workout, and I went to film it. I'm a videographer, so I'm able to create my own content.

INMAN ADAN: That's great.

RAFAEL BARLOWE: So I went to go watch him play. He didn't participate at the combine, other than the measurements and stuff like that. So I went to watch him work out. And I'll be honest. And I'm dead serious here. It's the best individual workout that I've ever filmed. He did not miss. The workout was so good that the person that's running his pre-draft process asked me to send the raw footage. And that's what he's sending to teams. This is the raw footage.

So usually when you make a workout video, there's no misses on there. And I put the edited version-- it's on my-- it's on the NBA Big Boy YouTube channel. So if you just type in Maxwell Lewis or even if you just scroll down--

INMAN ADAN: Guys, check it out.

RAFAEL BARLOWE: --back two weeks. And I did a one-on-one interview with him. I think he's really good. I think that he should be in the lottery discussion. The problem is he went to Pepperdine. And Pepperdine was just awful. I don't even know if he won 20 games in his two years at Pepperdine. I mean, they were really, really bad. So he kind of has to shed the label of a guy that put up good numbers on a bad team.

Another knock on him was that he was just an absolutely poor defender. But most people will tell you it's not because he lacks the tools. It's just because maybe he wasn't held accountable. He has this tendency, because he's so athletic, to let guys get by him. And then he tries to go from behind and get the block. So he falls into that range of a good shooter. I think out of all the wings, he may be the best shot creator as far as the 3's, as far as getting the shot.

But the concern is, again, the defense. And he played on a bad team. And he's just going to have to go like above and beyond to convince teams that he's not just a guy that just got a bunch of garbage points or empty stats. But talent-wise, I think if he went to one of these major schools, we'd be talking about him as a lottery pick.

INMAN ADAN: Interesting, interesting. So he's more of-- the poor defense because he wants to get the block or maybe a gamble because he wants to get the steal, a showy guy, which, hey, if you're on a bad team, you might as well get your numbers and get your highlights, I guess. I don't know.
