Masha Popova was figuratively seated in a monster truck when designing her spring 2024 collection, which she called “seasonless” backstage.
Her specialty is in denim and T-shirts for the cool kids of London. Nothing is prim and proper but rather slashed, scrunched and worn until it’s fallen apart.

This season she introduced the category of menswear into her orbit. Even though her designs are unisex, the menswear arm is to expand the sizing. This offering included sheer T-shirts printed with monster truck motifs; brown denim that has an oil-dipped effect; a two-tone velvet shirt, and footwear from Dr Martens that has been customized with paint to give it a worn-out look.
Her last season was based on the “adrenaline rush you get driving fast down the highway” and this was the sequel, which lacked the cohesiveness, but delivered in producing colors that looked believable and on theme, such as beetroot purple, grisly green, bronze, faded blue and washed-out gray.
The young Ukrainian designer is an appetite for her customers who revel in the Y2K trend.
