Martin Clunes and James Buckley team up for new British comedy-drama Mother's Pride
Martin Clunes and James Buckley are set to appear in a new comedy-drama.
From the writers, directors, and producers of Fisherman's Friends and Finding Your Feet, Mother's Pride has wrapped filming in Somerset and Wiltshire.
The film tells the story of "a failing pub, a divided community and a grieving family whose lives are changed by brewing real ale and entering the Great British beer awards", according to a synopsis.

Alongside Doc Martin star Clunes and The Inbetweeners' James Buckley, Mother's Pride will also star Better Man's Jonno Davies, Poldark star Gabriella Wilde, Game of Thrones actor Mark Addy, and Fisherman's Friends: One and All star Lana Moorcroft.
The star-studded cast also includes Lockwood & Co's Luke Treadaway, The Full Monty star Miles Jupp, Starstruck's Lola-Rose Maxwell, A Clever Woman's Josie Lawrence, Spent actor Karl Collins, Trigger Point's Stephen Leask, and Code 404 star Emily Lloyd-Saini.
Nick Moorcroft, director of Fisherman's Friends: One and All, wrote the screenplay alongside Fisherman's Friends' Meg Leonard.
Mother's Pride will be released in cinemas by Entertainment Film Distributors, but a release date is yet to be announced.

Buckley, who played Jay Cartwright in the hit sitcom The Inbetweeners, recently appeared alongside Neil Morrissey in the thriller Finders Keepers.
The pair played a metal-detecting duo consisting of a father and his daughter's fiancé, who discover a Saxon treasure that they decide not to report to authorities, setting off a catastrophic chain of events.
Manhunt star Clunes is also set to star in ITV and ITVX's six-part miniseries Out There with Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Mark Lewis Jones, and Natalia Kostrzewa.
It will tell the story of "a farmer confronted with dark forces seeping into his rural community".
