NEW YORK — Fans of Bad Bunny are used to expecting something different each time he releases new music. He's done it since his first studio album, 2018's “X 100pre” ("Forever"); then with “Oasis”, his collaboration with J Balvin in 2019, and last February with his award-winning “YHLQMDLG,” a 20-track project which explored love and loss through a combination of trap and reggaetón.Now he is surprising fans with “El Último Tour del Mundo” ("The Last Tour of the World"), a 16-song collection written during the pandemic and released Friday in which he plays with alternative music, punk, pop and even rock ‘n’ roll.“I am not a fan of repeating the same formula,” the singer says. “Each album that I've made has it's own identity.”“El Último Tour del Mundo” was mostly written by Bad Bunny and features collaborations with American singer-songwriter Abra, Spanish sensation Rosalía and Puerto Rican Jhay Cortez. The album arrives only a few days after Bad Bunny received a Latin Grammy, two American Music Awards and two new Grammy nominations, including for best pop duo/group performance for “Un Día (One Day)” with Balvin, Dua Lipa and Tainy. While recovering from COVID-19, the 26 year-old musician, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, spoke to The Associated Press from his home in Puerto Rico. Answers have been edited for clarity and brevity.AP: You had to cancel your planned performance at the American Music Awards after testing positive for the coronavirus. How are you feeling?Bad Bunny: I am well, thank God. I am feeling better. There were days where I felt a little bad, but I feel that I'm almost totally recovered.AP: You have plenty of reasons to celebrate: A Latin Grammy, two American Music Awards, two new nominations to the Grammys, a new album. This has been an important week.Bad Bunny: I am very happy. Many things are happening. Despite being a difficult year for many, myself included, 2020 has also given me many things to be grateful for thanks to the music. We are very happy, enjoying the blessings and the good things that may come.AP: In “El Último Tour del Mundo” you play with new rhythms and elements. Tell us a bit about this production.Bad Bunny: I've always said that albums are for making new, different things and to discover yourself as an artist. I am not a fan of repeating the same formula... This new album is meant to be listened while relaxing at home, in your room, in your car, at night with some friends, with a glass (of wine) or a beer. It has many songs that are fun and it has a lot of emotion. It has a lot of me. More than a Bad Bunny album, this is a Benito album.AP: Besides the mood of your music, how do you feel that the pandemic has affected you as an artist?Bad Bunny: It forced me to be even more productive because I was alone at home doing nothing. At times I felt like writing songs that had to do with everything that was happening, but at the same time I told myself ‘No’ because I want people to forget reality when they listen to my music. But reality always touches your music: there are a few songs where you can feel that the muse was everything that is going on, like “Antes Que Se Acabe” ("Before It Ends"). That's a very special song that comes from that sensation that the world seems to be coming to an end, but before that happens we need to give love and share with one another.AP: Would you call it a more introspective album?Bad Bunny: You could say that, although it also has some songs about heartbreak, which people always love to hear and I do love to write... and other themes like “Maldita Pobreza” ("Damn Poverty"), which is very fun, one of my favourites. It starts with this boy that wants to give everything to a girl and he can’t because he’s poor, and then the song takes a turn and becomes a little social. There’s also “Yo visto así”, which is my story and the story of many people always criticized for the way they dress, and it’s like saying “If you don’t like it, well...” (laughs.)AP: Why “The Last Tour of the World”?Bad Bunny: When I released “YHLQMDLG,” this whole quarantine thing started and I wrote most of the songs during those first weeks. The only thing that gave me life was working on the album. At that moment, the images that we were seeing on TV and social media were apocalyptic, like the world was coming to an end. I think that had an influence in the album's title and it doesn't imply that this is going to be my last tour, but the last tour of the world, literally: No one will be able to go on tour. No one. Neither Maluma nor Lady Gaga. It’s like me moving forward a tour from 2032 to 2020, before the world comes to an end.___Follow Sigal Ratner-Arias on Twitter at https://twitter.com/sigalratner.Sigal Ratner-Arias, The Associated Press

An individual from Montgomery Village Public School (MVPS) has tested positive for COVID-19. Parents, guardians, and staff were notified of the case on Friday (Nov. 27), and assured that the appropriate measures are being taken. “We will continue to work closely with Public Health and take their direction as they complete their investigation,” said Brent Ellery, principal at MVPS. “Where Public Health determines there was a transmission risk to others in the school, they perform a risk assessment for any contacts.” Should the investigation result in Wellington Dufferin Public Health (WDGPH) determining any additional staff and students are at high risk of exposure, they’ll be directed to isolate. It will also be recommended that they be tested during their isolation period. According to the active-cases reporting page on the Upper Grand District School Board’s (UGDSB) website, there have been no class or school closures related to the incident. Ellery noted that Public Health is currently performing contact tracing, and explained that the identity of the individual is protected by privacy legislation. Anyone wishing to know information about how this is being handled and what steps are being taken to ensure the health and safety of staff, students, and the school’s community, are directed can find out more through this letter from Public Health. Dufferin County remains in orange-level restrictions as of Nov. 27. There are now a total of 161 active cases of COVID-19 within the boundaries of WDGPH, including an increase of 23 cases since the previous update on Nov. 26. Three people have been hospitalized. 60 of those cases are in Dufferin County. Montgomery Village Public School is the only school within Dufferin County to have a new active case since the previous update on Centennial Hylands Elementary School. As poorly as things have gone for the Chicago Bears over the last month, they have a chance to close November by getting right back in the thick of the NFC North race.If the Bears don’t capitalize on the opportunity, the Green Bay Packers will head into December well on their way to clinching a second straight division title.Chicago (5-5) has lost four straight and trails the Packers (7-3) by two games as the teams renew the NFL’s oldest rivalry Sunday night at Green Bay.“We’re fighters,” Bears running back David Montgomery said. “So if anybody’s counting us out, that’s fine. But we’re fighters, so we’re going to keep fighting.”The Packers have their own issues. After racing to a 4-0 start, the Packers have split their last six games. Green Bay has struggled lately at home with the pandemic preventing the Packers from allowing any fans to games. In their last two home games, the Packers lost 28-22 to the Minnesota Vikings and eked out a 24-20 victory over the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars. The Packers are back at Lambeau Field after blowing a two-touchdown halftime lead in a 34-31 overtime loss at Indianapolis. But the Packers still could gain a commanding three-game division lead by winning Sunday night in the first of two regular-season meetings between these teams. The Packers and Bears meet again Jan. 3 in Chicago to close the regular season.“We’re on Sunday night football, it’s the only game playing at that time, it’s a divisional rival against the Bears and it’s a huge game in our division,” Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark said. “If you’re not pumped up for this one, then I don’t know what to say to you.”This game features another quarterback change for the Bears.Mitchell Trubisky was benched in favour of Nick Foles during the Bears’ third game and later injured his right shoulder. Trubisky now will get another chance to lead the Bears' offence after Foles injured his hip and glute in the Bears’ last game, a 19-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 16.Bears coach Matt Nagy confirmed Friday that Trubisky will start. Nagy said it was too early to tell whether this move could last beyond this week and that he's focusing only on the Green Bay game for now.“Right now we're excited that Mitch is ready, and it's an opportunity for him," Nagy said. “I know for Nick, with him being doubtful and his not being able to be out here at practice, it's frustrating, but that's a part of this game, and he's been supportive with the other quarterbacks all week long.”THIRD-DOWN MATCHUPThe Packers rank among the NFL’s most efficient teams in third-down situations. They are converting on 47.9% of their third-down attempts. Only Las Vegas, Kansas City and Buffalo have better third-down percentages.Chicago is allowing its opponents to convert only 33.3%, giving the Bears the NFL’s best third-down defence. Packers coach Matt LaFleur says this will be the toughest defence Green Bay has faced.“Khalil Mack is a game wrecker,” LaFleur said. “You better know where he’s at on every snap because, you know, he’s got the ability just by himself to go wreck whatever you’re trying to do.”RODGERS REIGNS OVER BEARSWhile the Bears have an uncertain quarterback situation heading into Sunday’s game, they’ll have to beat a two-time MVP quarterback who has dominated this series throughout his career.Green Bay owns a 19-5 record against the Bears in games Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has started.SPECTATORS AT LAMBEAUThis will mark the Packers' first home game with any spectators at all.Packers officials have announced that team employees and their family members – about 500 people in all - will be in the stands to test out Lambeau Field COVID-19 protocols in case paying fans are allowed at home games later this season.MONTGOMERY’S RETURNMontgomery sat out one game with a concussion but is expected to play Sunday night. Montgomery has rushed for a team-high 472 yards on 131 carries. That’s a big addition for a team that severely lacks running back depth. Without Montgomery available, wide receiver/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson had 12 of the Bears’ 17 carries in the Vikings game.BEARS’ RECORD RETURNERPatterson scored on a 104-yard kickoff return against the Vikings, enabling him to tie an NFL record with eight such touchdowns in his career. He shares the record with Josh Cribbs and Leon Washington.Patterson, of course, can have the record all to himself if he scores on a kickoff return at Green Bay. The Packers have struggled on special teams lately, though their issues haven’t involved kickoff coverage. Darrius Shepherd fumbled on a kickoff return at Indianapolis. One week earlier, the Packers allowed Jacksonville’s Keelan Cole to score on a franchise-record 91-yard punt return.___AP Sports Writer Andrew Seligman contributed to this report.___More AP NFL: https://apnews.com/NFL and https://twitter.com/AP_NFLhttps://twitter.com/AP_NFLSteve Megargee, The Associated Press

Santacon, an annual bar crawl in which thousands of young people dressed in Santa Claus costumes roam — or stagger — through the streets of Manhattan, has been canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers said. During Santacon, hordes of Santas usually move from bar to bar, downing shots. "All of the reindeer got the 'Rona so, the Elves have advised Santa to hold off on the in-person merriment," organizers wrote on their website https://santacon.nyc earlier this week.
ATLANTA — The Las Vegas Raiders have positioned themselves to make a run at what would be just their second playoff appearance since reaching the Super Bowl during the 2002 season.Of course, they've been here before.A year ago, in their last year in Oakland, the Raiders entered the stretch run with a 6-4 records — the same mark they have heading into Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. But the team that now calls Las Vegas home stumbled to the finish, managing one win in its final six games while averaging a league-low 14.7 points during that span.“We’re definitely a better team this year, but we have to — and I mean have to — finish this season better than we did last year,” quarterback David Carr said. “I’m hopeful and I believe that we will and I think that it’s different,"This year feels much the same to the Falcons (3—7), who don't have a whole lot to play for other than avoiding their third straight losing season.Interim coach Raheem Morris is trying to stay positive, even after an ugly 24-9 loss to the New Orleans Saints last weekend.“We had a couple of really good physical runs early that we were not able to maintain, that we have to be able to maintain throughout the whole game in order to finish teams off the way we want to finish teams off,” Morris said. "We have to figure out how to do that better.”The Raiders' hopes of contending for the AFC West title took a huge blow last week with a 35-31 loss to Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce with 28 seconds to play for the winning score.Coach Jon Gruden was in no mood to discuss comparisons to last year's Raiders. He's only looking ahead.“This comparing stuff is for ESPN analysts. Those days are in my past,” said the former "Monday Night Football" commentator. “We have a long way to go. We’re making progress.”BIG OPPORTUNITYThe Raiders have struggled getting to the quarterback, making the second fewest sacks in the league with 11. The only times they’ve had fewer sacks after 10 games in the Super Bowl era came in 2014 (10) and 2018 (9).But after watching Atlanta's Matt Ryan get sacked eight times last week by New Orleans, the Raiders are hoping to get some chances.“You get excited about that,” defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins said. “We obviously have to go out and play the game. Just because one team had nine sacks or whatever amount they had, doesn’t mean we’ll have the same, too.”RYAN'S RECOVERYOf course, Ryan is surely excited for the chance to bounce back against the league's 28th-ranked pass defence. Matty Ice is coming off his lowest-rated game since 2013, but he's never been one to wallow in a disappointing performance.“This league will humble you week in and week out," said Ryan, who will be playing in his 200th career game. "You have to flush it out of the system, get back to work and stay confident and believe that we’re going to play great this week.”FORMER FALCONSLas Vegas picked up a couple former members of the Falcons defence heading into the game.Defensive end Takk McKinley was claimed off waivers a couple of weeks after being cut by Atlanta, ending a tumultuous, injury-plagued stint with the team that made him a first-round draft pick in 2017.The Raiders also signed defensive end Vic Beasley Jr., an All-Pro with the Falcons in 2016, to their practice squad. Beasley hasn't come close to matching the form he showed in his best season.“Well obviously he’s had a history in the NFL," Gruden said. "We've got to see if we can get him going again, but I’ll make no predictions.”COPING WITH THE VIRUSThe Falcons had to cancel practice and work virtually Thursday after two non-coaching members of the staff tested positive for COVID-19.It's the third time this season the Falcons have taken such a step, but none of their games has been affected. The team also got a bit of good news on the virus front, activating defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. from the COVID-19 reserve list. The Raiders are in better shape after having to practice last week without a significant number of players because they had “high-risk contacts” to a teammate who tested positive. Las Vegas, Gruden and its players have already been fined more than $1.2 million and docked a sixth-round draft pick for violations of the COVID-19 protocols.ODD CALLSThe empty stadiums this season have allowed TV audiences to hear much more of the talk that goes on at the line of scrimmage.Carr is particularly vocal, with his frequent audibles with interesting names like “Purple Walrus” or “Pistol Pete” becoming popular on Twitter. He was calling out so many last week that NBC announcers joked he was like the third member of the broadcast booth.“I’ve had some fun with it,” Carr said. “I got some new ones obviously for this game and all those kinds of things. My mind is always working, just coming up with stuff, but don’t get it twisted. I don’t come up with all of them. I’m not that smart.”___Follow Paul Newberry on Twitter at https://twitter.com/pnewberry1963 His work can be found at https://apnews.com/search/paulnewberry___AP Pro Football Writer Josh Dubow contributed to this report.___More AP NFL: https://apnews.com/NFL and https://twitter.com/AP_NFLPaul Newberry, The Associated Press
A Pembroke, Ont., woman who was found guilty of impaired driving causing death in 2015 has lost her dentist's licence for six months.According to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Christy Natsis will also be monitored for the next two and half years through office visits, pay $7,500 in costs to the college and receive an official reprimand. The college cited Natsis breaking the law and acting with "disgraceful, dishonourable, unprofessional or unethical conduct."Those allegations were uncontested, a spokesperson for the college said, and the hearing proceeded with an agreed statement of facts and a joint submission for the penalty. The college held a teleconference on Thursday and announced its decision.Natsis was found guilty in May 2015 — after a 55-day trial that stretched over three years — of impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death in the March 2011 crash that killed Bryan Casey. She was eventually sentenced to five years in prison, which she unsuccessfully appealed.
Cece Hooks scored 32 points, Erica Johnson added 24 and Ohio rallied to upset No. 22 Notre Dame 86-85 on Friday, spoiling the debut of Irish coach Niele Ivey. Ivey, who replaced Hall of Famer Muffet McGraw, saw her team trailing 41-30 at the half and fall behind by 14 before outscoring the Bobcats 35-21 in the third quarter. A 3-pointer by Dara Mabrey in the final minute put the Irish up three.
