Yahoo Movies Mariah Carey robbed of $50,000 worth of accessories
Mariah Carey has reportedly been robbed of up to $50,000 worth of sunglasses and jewellery following a recent break in at her Beverly Hills home.
According to E! News, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that they responded to reports of a burglary some time between Wednesday and Thursday of this week after an intruder entered the home through a window.
It's not thought that anyone was in the house at the time of the robbery as Mariah is said to have been staying in New York City.
Digital Spy has reached out to Mariah's representatives for more information.
While we feel for Mimi after the burglary, we can't help but wonder whether the thieves in question also took off with any of her somewhat premature Christmas decorations.
Although we're still firmly in October, Mariah has already kitted her LA home with the obligatory fairy lights, garlands and a massive Christmas tree.

Well, there's certainly no doubting that she's a fan of the festive season. All Mariah wants for Christmas is more Christmas it seems.
Fans of the star were left a little bemused after Mimi was interviewed via video link on Good Morning Britain earlier this month, complete with fully-decked halls. Fa-la-la-la-la and all that.
Hey, if we'd made many millions off the back of a Christmas song, we'd be celebrating all year round, too.
