Manely Adorable: Therapy Horse Scratches Itch on New Hampshire Snow Pile

A therapy horse took a satisfying roll in a pile of snow in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, scratching an itch in a hard-to-reach place.

Owner Gerald Scott and his horse, Hercules, are part of “Horses Over America,” an organization founded by Scott focused on community relationships and equine therapy. “We’ve visited 15 cities and towns in three states during COVID-19 to target depression, loneliness, and isolation,” Scott told Storyful.

This video posted by Scott, who said he filmed it on January 13, shows Hercules rolling in a snow pile as onlookers laugh. Credit: Gerald Scott via Storyful
