Before Married At First Sight Australia came our true love, Love Island. And in the ultimate crossover we didn't see coming, Jessika Powers has responded to rumours she'll be heading into the UK villa this summer.

While Laura Whitmore and the gang were sadly unable to make Love Island 2020 happen due to obvious reasons, ITV2 have promised to be back and bigger than ever for 2021. We're expecting dramatic recouplings, Casa Amor and... Jess Powers from MAFSA?

The contestant, who was matched with Mick Gould in the experiment before pairing up with Dan Webb, was recently asked about claims she was going to be on the UK show later this year.

"I would be very open to coming over to the UK and doing a show like that," she told MailOnline. "[I'm] very open to these shows being able to work for your love life."

She then apparently added that she would "100 per cent" like to take part in the UK edition of Love Island, though Jessika later took to Instagram Stories to clarify the quotes.

"Can confirm I am NOT doing Love Island haha and am happy in my current relationship with my partner," she wrote over an image of an article titled 'Jessika Power teases Love Island UK appearance'. "Some of these articles are insane but entertaining."

The current relationship Jess is referring to is with Filip Poznanovic, who she's been dating since January 2021. Speaking to The Wash, Jessika said she has known Filip, a rapper who goes by the name Filthy Fil, 'for a while', as he's a friend of her brother's.

We're not sure the Love Island villa could cope, tbh.
