Traffic chaos has hit three motorways following a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning - with the M25 and M26 shut, and traffic tailing back for three miles on the M20. A 10-mile stretch of the M25 is shut clockwise in Surrey, between junction 5 at the M26/Sevenoaks, and junction 6 at Godstone. Around 10 miles of the M26 westbound has also been shut, from junction 2A at the A20, to where the motorway joins the M25.
Superdry today launched a restructuring plan aimed at saving the once mighty brand which will see it raise cash and slash rents. It will delist from the stock market as part of the plan, which should give it time away from the glare of daily scrutiny of its battered share price. There will be rent cuts on 39 of its UK stores and an extension on loans agreed with Bantry Bay and Hilco.

A boat carrying a group of people capsized in a river in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Tuesday, drowning four of them, news agency Press Trust of India reported. Boating accidents are common in India, where many vessels are overcrowded and have inadequate safety equipment. In May 2018, 30 people died when their boat capsized on the swollen Godavari River in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.
Drua head coach Mick Byrne has been hired to guide the Fijian national men’s rugby team as part of an agreement which could see Fiji play in the upcoming Nations Championship. In a statement Tuesday, Fiji Rugby said Byrne had been appointed after an “extensive and rigorous selection and negotiation process.” “World Rugby clarified that (Fiji’s) performance and ranking at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France has put Fiji in strong position to be part of the Nations Championship competition commencing 2026 through to 2030,” Fiji Rugby said in a statement.
Monday night in New York was a special one for women's basketball as the WNBA held it's 2024 Draft. By the end of the night three players from Mississippi were drafted. Ole Miss guard Marquesha Davis was selected 11th overall in the first round by the New York Liberty. New York continued to mine the Magnolia State by drafting Mississippi State forward Jessika Carter 23rd overall in the second round. And on the final pick of the drafted Jackson State center Angel Jackson was selected by the defending champion Las Vegas Aces. Jackson is the second player in the last three seasons to become a WNBA Draft pick from JSU. Ameshya Williams was drafted 25th overall by the Indiana Fever in 2022.
